Receive only—no sending
Temporary email addresses are for receiving messages only; they can’t send email. Aliases forward incoming messages to a verified email address. They are not tools for bulk or anonymous sending.
Don’t rely on expired addresses
Temporary addresses are valid for 24 hours by default. Don’t use one as the only recovery email for an important account; we can’t guarantee recovery after it expires.
Use responsibly and lawfully
You must follow local laws and third-party platform rules. Automated abuse, fraud, or attempts to bypass restrictions may result in limited requests or a closed address.
Our service and who can use it
EmailSaw provides a browser-based temporary inbox, email viewing, and alias forwarding after email verification. You can use the temporary inbox without registering. Ongoing forwarding depends on your control of the destination email address and any required authenticator.
You must be legally able to accept these terms under applicable law. If you’re below the age of independent consent in your location, you must use the service with guidance from an authorised guardian. If you’re using the service on behalf of an organisation, you must have the appropriate authorisation. You may not apply for or manage someone else’s email access on their behalf.
Suitable uses and prohibited activity
A temporary email address can reduce unnecessary exposure of your personal address, but it doesn’t change your obligations to third-party platforms. Check that a platform accepts temporary addresses. Don’t use a different email address to get around its eligibility, payment, or risk-control requirements.
Permitted uses
- Receive a confirmation email for a one-off, low-risk download for your personal use.
- Test email flows on websites you’re authorised to test.
- Use different aliases to keep track of legitimate subscriptions.
- Read or delete your own messages while the address is active.
Prohibited activity and possible suspension
- Fraud, impersonation, or receiving unlawful content.
- Bulk account creation, evading bans, or exploiting promotions.
- Scanning for addresses, stealing credentials, or accessing someone else’s email.
- Attacking the service, generating abusive traffic, or distributing malware.
If we detect abuse, we may take necessary steps such as rate limiting, rejecting messages, suspending aliases, or ending access. If you’re a legitimate user and believe your access was mistakenly restricted, contact support with the time, address, and details of what happened. Don’t include active verification codes or access tokens.
Address lifecycle and deletion
Use the remaining time shown in the interface and the server’s confirmation as your guide; don’t rely on keeping a browser tab open. Actions such as extending an address, changing it, or deleting messages are complete only after the service confirms success.
| Item or action | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Temporary email address | Valid for 24 hours by default. The address and messages may be deleted when it expires; it isn’t for permanent storage. |
| Change address | Switches the inbox you’re currently using. It doesn’t update the email address saved in any third-party account. |
| Pause alias | Stops future forwarding, but doesn’t remove copies already delivered to the destination inbox. |
| Message history | Shows records from the past 30 days. Save important content yourself, where lawful. |
| Delete | We can’t guarantee recovery, and deletion won’t remove copies held by other email providers. |
Complete any necessary actions before the address expires. You’re responsible for access interruptions caused by an expired address, cleared browser data, or a lost device. Knowing an email address alone isn’t enough for us to restore inbox access to someone who requests it.
Credentials and account security
Browser credentials, verification codes sent to your regular email, and authenticator codes are all access credentials. Don’t share them. After using a shared computer, sign out of forwarding and clear local temporary inbox data as needed.
An authenticator can reduce some risks, but it can’t protect you if your device is compromised or you share a verification code with someone. If you discover unauthorised access, secure your regular email account and device first, then contact support with details.
Emails, attachments, and third-party websites
Emails come from third parties. EmailSaw doesn’t endorse their claims, links, or attachments. Even if a message appears to come from a familiar brand, verify the sender independently. Don’t enter your account password on an unfamiliar page.
Third parties may reject temporary email addresses. Messages may also be delayed or fail to arrive because of spam filters, network issues, or problems at the recipient’s email provider. We can’t guarantee that every verification code will arrive, that every attachment can be previewed, or that an external platform will continue to accept an alias.
Availability, liability, and rights
We work to keep the service running, but provide it as available. Maintenance, network issues, email system failures, or security measures may cause interruptions. Except for liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, we make no commitment to compensate for indirect losses, lost profits, or accounts you can’t recover because you relied on a temporary address.
These limitations don’t exclude consumer rights that you’re legally entitled to and can’t waive by contract. The site’s brand, interface, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Rights to received email content remain with their lawful owners; using this site doesn’t transfer those rights to you.
Changes, termination, and dispute contact
We may change or limit the service, or update these terms and the date on this page. We’ll notify you of significant changes through an appropriate on-site channel. If you don’t accept the updated terms, stop using the service and, while you still have access, take care of your messages and aliases.
For service-related questions, please email support@emailsaw.com, with the verifiable time of the activity and a description of the issue. We’ll try to resolve it reasonably. Applicable law and the jurisdiction of competent authorities are determined by the mandatory rules that apply. These terms don’t invent a place of company registration or limit your right to seek legal remedies.
