Label each source

Use a separate alias for each website, so senders only see that alias. If a source starts sending spam, disable that alias—no need to move your main inbox.

Check your inbox

The verification email may land in spam. Check the address you entered before requesting another code; there’s no need to keep clicking while the resend timer is running.

Keep control of access

Sign out after using a shared computer. For stronger sign-in protection, enable an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator in your account settings.
